Polyurethan Support wheels

These support wheels are employed all over the world – from the Brazilian jungle to the Siberian permafrost – in cellulose industry facilities. Two of these wheels carry the entire mass of a wood chipping plant. An individual wheel needs to carry up to 60 tonnes.

The challenges of this component include selecting the right material (due to the wide spectrum of environmental conditions) and the complex production process (casting and remachining).
