It doesn’t have to be High Pressure all the time
Polyurethane Elastomer Spray Coatings are primarily applied to parts to protect them from moisture or chemicals, or to provide greater wear resistance.
Low-Pressure Spray Machines are mostly used when the components to be processed have large differences in their viscosities and whose mixing ratio is too far apart.
Other criteria for their usability are e.g. but also
- If more than two components and possibly additional Colors or Additives have to be processed
- If the material system has a minimum pot life of 20-30 seconds
Whether a Low-Pressure Machine can be used therefore depends mainly on the material system to be processed, but also on the required surface quality has to be considered.
